Our Dedicated Experts
Our team combines deep knowledge in engineering and physics, positioning VibroTrace at the forefront of non-destructive testing and intelligent quality control.
Prof. Dr. Mathias Kersemans
Prof. Mathias Kersemans holds a PhD in Engineering Physics (Google Scholar). He is currently a professor at Ghent University, leading a research team working on Quality Control, Non-Destructive Testing, and Structural Health Monitoring. His expertise lies at the intersection of fundamental and applied research, aiming to develop innovative testing solutions for a broad range of industries.
Dr. Adil Han Orta
Dr. Adil Han Orta holds a PhD in Physics (Google Scholar). He is currently a post-doctoral researcher at Ghent University, focusing on ultrasonics, guided waves, resonance testing, and material characterization for non-destructive testing. His work combines physics-based modelling with experimental techniques to create advanced diagnostic solutions for complex engineering materials and structures.
Dr. Ir. Joost Segers
Dr. Ir. Joost Segers holds a PhD in Electro-Mechanical Engineering (Google Scholar) and 5 years of experience in industrial project management and product development. Joost drives product development by combination of an experimental hands-on approach with state-of-the-art signal processing techniques. He is currently a post-doctoral researcher at Ghent University, focusing on vibration-based non-destructive testing.
